Contract management, inside the HubSpot you already pay for

HubSpot contract management has one awkward gap: there is no contract object. So contract dates end up in deal names, in notes, or in a spreadsheet beside the CRM, and renewals slip because nothing is watching them.

We are building a HubSpot app that fixes exactly that. It is not finished, and we would rather build it with you than at you. Early access is free, and the people who join now decide what ships first.

Can a CRM do contract management?

Mostly, yes, and most teams never find out. CRM contract management gets dismissed because HubSpot ships no contract object, so people assume they need a separate contract management system and go shopping for one at $5,000 to $80,000 a year.

For the part that actually loses money, the CRM is the better home. Your contract crm data sits next to the customer, the renewal is already a deal, and the alert lands where the work happens rather than in a second system nobody opens.

What a separate platform is genuinely better at

Storing and searching signed documents, drafting from clause libraries, redlining, and e-signature. If that is your bottleneck, buy one.

What belongs in the CRM

Renewal dates, notice windows, owners, escalation terms and the renewal deal itself. This is where CRM contracts earn their keep. Everything that decides whether the revenue arrives.

The plan

What we are building

An app that lets you manage contracts where your team already works. Early access shapes the order these ship in.

Contracts as real records

Start date, end date, notice period, value and owner as structured contract data on the deal or company you already work in.

The notice date, calculated

End date minus notice period, kept current automatically. The date that actually decides the renewal, not the one printed on the contract.

Alerts that become tasks

Assigned to a named owner and escalated if nothing moves. They stop the moment the renewal closes.

A contract dashboard

Your contract portfolio by renewal window and value, plus every agreement with no owner or no end date.

Renewal deals, already built

Line items carried over, escalation applied, in the pipeline before the first alert fires.

Your rules, not ours

Multi-year terms, bundles, co-terming and notice periods differ by company. The rules are configuration.

Why we can build this quickly

We are not starting from nothing. SWOTBee already builds and ships HubSpot apps, and already runs renewal operations inside client portals by hand: contract properties, calculated notice dates, alert workflows with escalation, and renewal deals created with line items and uplift applied.

The app is that same work, productised, so you can manage contracts in HubSpot without a consulting engagement. Which is also why we can move fast on whatever early access users ask for first.

Do not want to wait?

We can set the whole thing up in your portal now, as configuration rather than an app. Same outcome, available today, and you own everything we build.

Free while in early access. We will ask you four questions, build against the answers, and tell you honestly if a different tool suits you better.

What we will ask

  • How many contracts are you tracking, and where do they live today?
  • Which matters more first: the renewal alerts, or the contract repository?
  • Do you need the signed documents in HubSpot, or just the dates and terms?
  • What would make this worth paying for once early access ends?
